Common Red Soldier Beetle

The first time I got a picture of this beetle, it was alone and someone on one a site on the web, was a bit amused by that, that it was alone and its Danish name. It does nothing but to eat and have sex, they said, so once someone in the country was dissatisfied with priests and name the beetle a pastorbeetle, as an insult I guess. I don't know if it's a true story or not, but still a bit of funny -  so every time I meet these beetles, I think of it.
